المستخلص: Through this research, we tried to build a model to study the impact of economic policies on unemployment in Algeria during the period 1980-2011. We first examined the theoretical framework of the nature of the policies applied in Algeria and their effects on the labour market. Later, we described the most important methods adopted by the State to address social problems in general and unemployment in particular. Later, we tried to formulate an economic standard model. We came to the conclusion that the programs accompanying the reform process had no impact on unemployment. Finally, we concluded that the unemployment rate is explained by both the volume of gross domestic product (GDP), the number of people, the size of wages and the rate of investment, without the variable of the reforms.

A travers ce présent travail, nous avons tenté d’élaborer un modèle économétrique pour mesurer l’impact des réformes engagées par les pouvoirs publics durant la période (1980-2011) sur le chômage en Algérie. A cet effet, nous avons commencé d’abord par un aperçu théorique relatif à ces politiques et leurs incidences sur le marché de travail. Ensuite nous avons abordé les mesures d’accompagnement prises par les pouvoirs publics pour contrecarrer les effets néfastes engendrées par ces réformes. Nous avons, en enfin, tenté d’évaluer l’impact de ces mesures d’accompagnement sur le chômage à l’aide d’un modèle économétrique. Enfin, après jugement du modèle, il a été constaté que le taux de chômage est expliqué par: le PIB ; la population ; la masse salariale; le taux d’investissement sans la variable « Réformes ».

قمنا من خلال بحثنا هذا بمحاولة بناء نموذج لدراسة أثر السياسات الاقتصادية على البطالة في الجزائر خلال الفترة (2011-1980). فتطرقنا في البداية إلى الإطار النظري لطبيعة السياسات المطبقة في الجزائر وآثارها على سوق العمل، ثم فيما بعد قمنا بسرد لأهم الأساليب المنتهجة من طرف الدولة من أجل التصدي للمشاكل الاجتماعية بشكل عام والبطالة بشكل خاص. وحاولنا فيما بعد صياغة نموذج قياسي اقتصادي. وتوصلنا إلى نتيجة مفادها أن البرامج المرافقة لعملية الإصلاح لم يكن لها أثر على البطالة. وفي الأخير استنتجنا أن معدل البطالة يفسر بكل من حجم الناتج الداخلي الإجمالي وعدد السكان وحجم الأجور ومعدل الاستثمار دون متغيرة الإصلاحات.
