520 |b As we can see in this copy of Arabic Plan, one can briefly gather the following points: The necessity of the establishment of this Center in South America (S.A.) will definitely reinforce that country current international relations, contacts and direct dialogue with others. It’s expected also to positively respond to the anticipations of the S.A. citizens who’re both willing and able to study Arabic, the language that can in the long run give them more profitable chances in political, social and economic firms and corporation not only within South America, but also all over the world. Thanks to the objective of that Center for giving better opportunity for a learner to be able enough for self-learning and life-time learning as well. In brief, the philosophy of this Center is mainly based on several concepts, among them there are : 1-The effective learning cannot be well attained unless the learner is fully convinced of the importance of the teaching materials he’s supposed to study. 2-A major part of the effective learning never happen unless the learner insists on the self practices . (The Curriculum stresses that attitude to a great extent). 3-The learning process can be easier and much more facilitated, once the learner assures his actual participation in class. 4-It is expected that teachers will help learners how well they can learn. As to the general bases of learning materials, a wide range of Tradition and Modernity can be combined together side by side with some essential localities of S.A. These materials are to be distributed in Three major standards (Elementry, Intermediate and Advanced. In their turn, the modules across these three levels will come to include all the necessary language skills that read: skimming and scanning reading, outloud reading, writing and composition, listening comprehension & speaking, literary evaluation, and translation (from and to) Arabic. The learners’ measurement and evaluation is a subject of two types: achievement tests that can best assure the student dominated the materials planned in a specific time, the other criterion is the proficiency exam upon the learner’s completion of a course as a whole. There are some more directives that will be considered i.e. to adopt the best practice and succeful attempts in this regard, to get benefit from better models and experiences, also to extend bridges between Arabic culture and S.A.’s culture. Some educational strategies are also spelled out with details in the Arabic plan, The Work Plan set out three frameworks: language, intellectual and logistics that can clearly indicate the responsibilities, role-playing, discussion of budget and mechanism. The target success for this Center is highly expected if people in charge possess desire, enthusiasm, and believe that theory can be easily converted to good practice.
