ان من اهم النتائج لظاهرة هجرة الطاقات الشبابية والتي تقع في اعلى سلم الضرر هي خسران البلدان الطاردة، الشباب من الفئات العمرية الاكثر قدرة على العمل وعلى العطاء بعد ان اجتازوا المراحل الابتدائية الى المتقدمة من التأهيل، لذلك فهم يكونوا قوة داعمة لبناء مستقبل البلد الذي هاجروا اليه بعد ان تأهلوا في بلدانهم (الوطن الام). فضلا عن ان الهجرة تساهم في تفكيك العائلة وتماسكها الاجتماعي من جراء تغير موقع السكن وستظل الاسر تعاني من مشاكل الفراق والامل عن التواصل المطلوب في العودة في يوم من الايام على لقاءات قد تكون موصلة وقد تكون ابدية ويضل المهاجرين من الشباب يعيشون ما بين قوانين سائبة في برامج توظيف وتأهيل وطنية وبين طموحات الأفراد في مستقبل آمن ومرفه، ولذا يحتاج موضوع الهجرة من منظمات الامم المتحدة ان تعطيه دور فعال في احصائيات منتظمة ودقيقة في توثيق المهاجرين ومواقع توطنهم الجديد ومناطق نزوحهم من العراق جغرافيا مع التغييرات السنوية الحاصلة على مواقفهم لغرض معالجتها والوقوف على اسبابها لأنها خسارة كبيرة للبلد من النواحي الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والسياسية. وأنها في الوقت الحاضر بعد 2013 تقف وراءها اجندات خارجية هدفها افراغ العراق من الطاقات الشابة التي هي اساس العمل والعطاء.
