المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة للكسف عن دور المعجم في ترسيخ مفهوم المواطنة . حيث تم استخدام منهجين من مناهج الدرس اللغوي المعاصر: الأول- المنهج الوصفي بوصف مظاهر رصد المعجم للمبادئ التي تؤجج مشاعر الانتماء الوطني لدى أبناء اللغة. والثاني- منهج النقد المعجمي الذي يُعنَى بتقويم المعجم. حيث بُنِىَ البحث من مقدمة ومبحثين وخاتمة، عنوان المبحث الأول- مدخلات أولية، ويضم مطالب ثلاثة: الأول- تحديد الدلالة في المعجم العربي، والثاني- مصطلح المواطنة نشأته ومعناه، والثالث- متطلبات المعجم الجديد. ووسِم المبحث الثاني بالوطن والمواطنة في المعاصر والأساسي، ويشمل مطالب أربعة: الأول الجذر (و ط ن)، والثاني- مداخل المصطلحات المشتركة، والثالث- صياغة التعريف في المعجمين، والرابع- الأمثلة الداعمة للمواطنة. خلصت الدراسة إلى إن بالمعجمين المدروسين معلومات كثيرة ذات مسحة وطنية- وإن فاق أحدهما- غير موجودة بالمعاجم السابقة، وبهما جهد واضح، وفيهما تحقق مظاهر الصناعة المعجمية الحديثة، من جانب، ومظاهر معنى كون الفرد منتميًّا إلى بلد دون آخر وله ولاؤه، من جانب آخر، فضلًا عن وجود المداخل التثقيفية التي ترتبط بالمشاركة والفاعلية الحقيقية.‪

The study aimed to reveal the role of the lexicon in consolidating the concept of citizenship. Two methods of modern language lesson were used: The first is the descriptive method to describe the manifestations of the lexicon monitoring the principles that fuel the feelings of national affiliation among the learners of the language. The second is the method of lexical criticism that deals with the evaluation of the lexicon, where the research was built from an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. Title of the first chapter is initial inputs. It consists of three chapters: First: Determination of semantic in the Arabic lexicon. Second: the term of citizenship, its origin, and its meaning. Third: requirements of the new lexicon. The second chapter was characterized by homeland and citizenship in the contemporary and basic. It includes four chapters: First is root (motherland). The second is the entries of common terms. The third is the formulation of the definition in lexicons. The fourth is supporting examples of citizenship. The study concluded that the two dictionaries studied, have a lot of information with a national survey, though one of them excelled - they don't exist in the previous dictionaries. In these two dictionaries, the effort is clear. In them, the modern features of the lexicon industry are realized, on one hand, and the manifestations of the meaning of the individual belonging to a country except another while he is loyal with it, on the other, as well as the existence of educational entrances that are linked to real participation and effectiveness.
