هذا البحث بعنوان (أثر شعر عمرو بن كلثوم في قصيدة الفخر في الشعر العربي القديم)، ويهدف إلى دراسة شعر عمرو بن كلثوم كاملا وعدم الاقتصار على المعلقة وحدها، كما يهدف إلى التدليل على ريادة عمرو بن كلثوم في قصيدة الفخر العربية نظريا ؛ في أقوال الأدباء والنقاد ، وتطبيقيا في إيداع الشعراء، ويقسم إلى عدة محاور؛ حيث يشتمل التمهيد على التعريف بشخصيته ، ويعرض حجم شعره كاملا كما ورد في الديوان محققا ومطبوعا ، ثم يعرض المبحث الأول لمكانة شعر عمرو بن كلثوم في أقوال النقاد والأدباء القدماء و المحدثين حتى العقد الأخير . ثم يعرض المبحث الثاني لما أسس به عمرو بن كلثوم في قصيدة الفخر وامتدادها في إيداع الشعراء من العصر الجاهلي حتى العصر العباسي سواء في ذلك قصته مع عمرو بن هند أو معاني شعره وأبرز الظواهر الشعرية وما تميز به مقارنة بمن تأثروا به، ويقدم المبحث الثالث تحليلا لمعارضة شعرية بين أحد شعراء العصر الجاهلي (أمية بن أبي الصلت) وبين عمرو بن كلثوم في معلقته ويوضح ما اتفق فيه الشاعران والسبق لعمرو ، ثم ما تميز به عمرو و ما تميز به أمية . ثم يقدم المبحث الرابع موازنة بين معلقة عمرو بن كلثوم ومعلقة الحارث بن حلزة في ضوء معطيات النقد الثقافي لما تميز به شعر كل منهما وشخصيته وانعكاس تلك الشخصية في الإبداع الشعري لكليهما. وتشتمل الخاتمة على أهم نتائج البحث.
The present study is given the title (The effect of Amrou Bin Kolthoum's Poetry on the Pride Poem in the Ancient Arabian Poetry). It aims at studying Amrou Bin Kolthoum’s poetry completely and not to suffice merely with pendants. It also aims at indicating Amrou Bin Kolthoum's being a pioneer in the Arabian pride poem , theoretically in the speech of authors and critics and practically in the excellence of poets. The study is divided into a number of issues. The introduction includes an acknowledgement with the poet's character and it submits the complete volume of his poetry as reported in the divan and as investigated and printed. Then, the first topic submits the status of Amrou Bin Kolthoum's poetry in the sayings of ancient and modern authors and critics until the last decade. Then the second topic submits Amrou Bin Kolthoum's basis in the pride poetry and its extension in the excellence of poets from the Pre-Islamic era to the Abbasid era, whether in his story with Amrou Bin Hind or relevant to the meanings of his poetry as well as the most prominent poetic phenomena and whatever made him that distinguished compared to whoever have been affected by him. The third topic presents an analysis for a poetic opposition between a Pre- Islamic poet (Omaiya Bin Abi As-Salt) and Amrou Bin Kolthoum, in his pendant. It elucidates also the points of agreement between the two poets and the privilege of Amrou. Then the study elucidates the points that distinguished Amrou as well as the points that distinguished Omaiya. Then the fourth topic submits a comparison between Amrou Bin Kolthoum's pendant and Al-Harith Bin Halzah's pendant in the light of the givens of cultural criticism. This is for whateaver distinguished each poet's poetry, his personality and the reflection of such personality on the poetic excellence for each of them. Finally, the conclusion includes the most important findings of the study.
