The concept of time for Muslims differs greatly from what many other none-Muslims conceive of it. Time for all Muslims is very valuable, and observing the way one spends time is a religions obligation. Many verses (ayat) of the Holy Quran and numerous sayings ( hadiths ) of prophet Mohammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him (p.b.u.h) clarified the rewards a Muslim could have in this world and in the hereafter for being patient. Patience helped in the perfection that is apparent in the Islamic art, and perfection lead to higher aesthetic values with which classical and contemporary Islamic art is laden. |
