520 |b The importance of this research lies in that it considers a theoretical and applied adding in logo designing field, and linking them to the cultural identity of Saudi Arabia. This research adds developed alternatives and proposals for some of the logos of the official organizations. Moreover, this research aims at identifying the foundations and principles used in logo designing, as well as studying some of the logos of the official organizations and knowing the strengths and weaknesses for the purpose of developing and linking these logos to the cultural identity by placing proposed alternatives. The research followed the descriptive analytical approach, critical approach, and applied approach. The research found that there are many logos lack some foundations of the modern logo. Thus it was suggested that these logos must be developed in the principles and scientific standards of logo designing. Among the most important practical results of this research is that one of the proposed logo designing has been nominated and used which has been developed in this research to be the logo of one of the official team of Army Aviation Ground Forces. This research recommends the need to review many of the logos of government organizations even commensurate with the spirit of the age, the identity, and the culture of the society, also the goals of the organizations and their provided services.
