In addition, the increase in the rates of development accompanied by an increase in population growth rates, which leads to increased environmental pollution, and whatever issued legislation and established bodies and held on environmental protection conferences, it will not lead to ensure proper behavior on the pan of individuals to their environment because they behave the impact of multiple factors of motivations, attitudes and habits established in their minds usually become in their behavior. And try to solve these problems must come from the understanding and awareness of the nature of the relationship between the human and environmental aspects is correct in this relationship even can be processed on the basis of a sound and correct and address environmental problems and beneficiary of the direct cause of the problems as a result of flirting in his environment, and the community to provide a lot of extension services that contribute to change individuals’ attitudes towards the environment. The problem of the research to answer the main question the following: - 1. What is the degree of awareness of university students environmental problems? Branching group of sub-questions are as follows: - 2- Why is the prevalence of the phenomenon of negative behavior in Taif University students? 3. Is their a difference between male and female students about the degree of awareness of environmental problems? Are their statistically significant differences in order to cope with environmental problems due to the variable differences (college - sex -year estimate). 4. What are the most environmental problems from the point of view of the study sample? 5. What is the role of Taif University in the development of environmental awareness for students +and how to overcome their problems? The study concluded that the results of asset of the most important:- 1- The most common causes of environmental problems are-: -Educational and Islamic courses urges students cot to pay attention to the environment .con total public lectures aimed at the dissemination of noledge and exchange of environmental climate of opinion did not organize, and the teachers did not allocate part of the lectures to raise awareness of environmental issues or problems and how to deal with it. 2- The reasons for this less common problems, respectively, were- : -The total lack of a dear plan on how to deal with the environment and its problems, and the lack or scarcity of awareness programs for environmental education and how to deal with it, in addition to the weakness of cooperation between the community and the college management. 3. their are significant differences in the degree of awareness of environmental problems dating back to the variable of gender, these differences for the benefit of the students. 4. their are no significant differences to the variable of the college as well as the overall rating, while their was a statistically significant variable belonging to sex differences in favor of the students. 5. The roost common problems are the spread of waste and lack of Cleanliness of the streets, followed by air pollution and smoking. 6. That the role of the university for the development of environmental awareness to students and her students and how to overcome them was in the middle ranks.

ترجع معظم المشكلات البيئية إلى نمط السلوك الخاطئ من بني البشر نتيجة الافتقار للمعارف والاتجاهات البيئية السليمة، فعندما تزداد معدلات التنمية الصناعية والحضارية بجوانبها المادية المختلفة كلما زادت معدلات وجود مشكلات بيئية والمتمثلة في تلوث الماء والهواء والتربة والغذاء، إضافة لذلك فإن زيادة معدلات التنمية يصاحبها زيادة في معدلات السكان وهو ما يؤدي إلى زيادة التلوث البيئي، ومهما صدرت التشريعات وتأسست الهيئات وعقدت المؤتمرات الخاصة بحماية البيئة، فإن ذلك لن يؤدي إلى ضمان السلوك السليم من جانب الأفراد تجاه بيئتهم لأنهم يتصرفون بتأثير عوامل متعددة من دوافع واتجاهات وعادات ترسخت في أذهانهم وأوضحت عادة في سلوكهم. ومحاولة حل هذه المشكلات يجب أن تنبع من فهم وإدراك لطبيعة العلاقة بين الإنسان والبيئة والجوانب غير الصحيحة في هذه العلاقة حتى يمكن معالجتها على أسس سليمة وصحيحة، ومواجهة المشكلات البيئية والمستفيد منها والسبب المباشر في مشاكلها نتيجة عبثه في بيئته، وعلى المجتمع تقديم كثير من الخدمات الإرشادية التي تسهم في تغيير اتجاهات الأفراد نحو البيئة. وتتمثل مشكلة البحث في الإجابة على السؤال الرئيسي الآتي: ما هي درجة وعي طلاب الجامعة بالمشكلات البيئية؟ ويتفرع مجموعة من الأسئلة الفرعية كالتالي: 1- ما سبب شيوع ظاهرة السلوك السلبي لدى طلاب جامعة الطائف؟ 2- هل يوجد فروق بين الطلاب والطالبات نحو درجة الوعي بالمشكلات البيئية؟ 3- هل توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في سبيل مواجهة المشكلات البيئية تعزي لمتغير (الكلية- الجنس- التقدير العام). 4- ما هي أكثر المشكلات البيئية من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة؟ 5- ما دور جامعة الطائف في تنمية الوعي البيئي لطلابها+ وكيفية التغلب على مشكلاتها؟ وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة نتائج من أهمها: - 1- أن أكثر الأسباب لشيوع المشكلات البيئية هي: - - المقررات التربوية والإسلامية لم تحث الطلاب على الاهتمام بالبيئة، وأن الكلية لم تنظم محاضرات عامة تستهدف نشر المعرفة وتبادل الرأي بالمناخ البيئي، كما أن الأساتذة لم يخصصوا جزءا من المحاضرات للتوعية بالمشكلات أو القضايا البيئية وكيفية التعامل معها. 2- وأقل هذه الأسباب شيوعا للمشكلات البيئية على الترتيب كانت: - - افتقار الكلية إلى خطة واضحة عن كيفية التعامل مع البيئة ومشكلاتها، وقلة أو ندرة البرامج التوعوية عن الثقافة البيئية وكيفية التعامل معها، إضافة إلى ضعف التعاون بين المجتمع المحلي وإدارة الكلية. 3- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجة الوعي بالمشكلات البيئية تعود لمتغير الجنس وهذه الفروق لصالح الطالبات. 4- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لمتغير الكلية وكذا التقدير العام، بينما كانت توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعود لمتغير الجنس ولصالح الطالبات. 5- كانت أكثر المشكلات شيوعا هي انتشار النفايات وعدم نظافة الشوارع يليها تلوث الهواء ثم التدخين. 6- أن دور الجامعة لتنمية الوعي البيئي لطلابها وطالباتها وكيفية التغلب عليها كان في المرتبة المتوسطة.
