المستخلص: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات عينة من سكان محافظتي طولكرم وقلقيلية نحو نقوط العريس. استخدم الباحثان فيها المنهج الوصفي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الرجال اللذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 20 عاما في محافظتي طولكرم وقلقيلية والبالغ عددهم (73226) رجلا، وحجم العينة (732) بواقع (454) من محافظة طولكرم، و(278) من محافظة قلقيلية. جمعت البيانات المتعلقة بالدراسة خلال شهر آذار 2016، وكانت صحيفة الاستبيان هي الأداة الرئيسة لذلك. توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: أن المستوى العام لاتجاهات عينة من سكان محافظتي طولكرم وقلقيلية نحو ايجابيات نقوط العريس كان متوسطاً 64.01%، ونحو سلبيات النقوط كان مرتفعا 78.97%. وأشارت النتائج كذلك إلى وجود فروق جوهرية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لاستجابات المبحوثين فيما يتعلق باتجاهاتهم نحو نقوط العريس تبعا لمتغيرات: المحافظة، مكان السكن، العمر، الحالة الاجتماعية، الدخل الشهري

This study seeks to examine the attitudes of a sample of the residents of the two governates Tulkarem and Qalqiliyah towards wedding gifts of the groom. The researchers used the descriptive approach and the study community was taken from all of the men above 20 years of age within the two governates of Tulkarem and Qalqiliyah, totalling 73,226 men. The sample size was 732, 454 from the Tulkarem governate and 278 from the Qalqiliyah governate. The data related to the study was collected during the month of March 20167. The questionnaire paper was the main tool for that. The study reached a number of conclusions, the most significant of which were: That the general level of the attitudes of the sample of the residents of the two governates of Tulkarem and Qalqiliyah towards the positives of the groom’s wedding gifts were average at 64.01% and towards the negatives was high at 78.97%. The results also indicated to the existence of fundamental differences between the arithmetic averages for the responses of the respondents in respect to that which is related to their attitudes towards the groom’s wedding gifts, in accordance to the variables of: The governate, the place of residence, the age, the social status and monthly income.
