Economic diplomacy is increasingly associated to the overall development strategy, particularly in developing countries which are still having echoes tied to integrating a global economy characterized by a rude competition. Considered as a developing country, Morocco is building its economic diplomacy to reduce the structural deficit in its trade balance and support the Moroccan investors in their pursuit of foreign markets. In this evaluation of the Moroccan economic diplomacy, we will analyse the various trade relationship between Morocco and his various partners and the evolution of these economic transactions. Also, we will discuss the economic performance in terms of export promotion, attraction of FDI, support Moroccan investors abroad and development of the country’s brand image. |
