المستخلص: The Study aimed at recognizing the role of the educational supervisor as an educational leader in the process of curricula change and development from the teachers perspective in the secondary school in the educational Directorate of Mafraq City and finding the effect of sex ‘durational of teachers service variables and defining the role of the educational supervisor as an educational leader in the process of curricula change and development. In order to achieve the aim of the stud an instrument was developed. It consists (22) items distributed into two domains: The aims domain Includes (12) items and planning domain Includes (10) items. The validity of the instrument was approved by professor from Jordan University and experts in the field of educational supervision. The reliability was ensured by distributing the instrument on (20) teachers out of the sample of the study. The stability coefficient was (0.89). the instrument was distributed at (97) teachers (male and female). The results of the study indicated that there is a real role for the educational supervisor in the process of curricula change and development in the domain of aims it also indicated that there is a high awareness of educational aims in curricula and it got a high grade. Also in planning domain ‘the result indicated that the role o of the supervisor was at a high degree from the teachers’ perspective. The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences attributed to the variable of teachers’ service duration and to the favor of teachers who are more than five years service. The two researchers recommended that ‘there should be a focus on and increase in teachers practice program on the new curricula by supervisor and focus on the role of the educational supervisor in curricula change and development.

هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على دور المشرف التربوي في تطوير المناهج من وجهة نظر المعلمين في المدارس الثانوية في مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء قصبة المفرق في الأردن، وأثر كل من الجنس، الخبرة في تحديد دور المشرف التربوي في تطوير المناهج. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (97) معلما ومعلمة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: إن هناك دوراً للمشرف التربوي في تطوير المناهج، ففي مجال الأهداف دلت النتائج بأن المشرف التربوي على وعي بأهمية الأهداف التربوية وحصلت على درجة عالية. أما في مجال التخطيط فقد دلت النتائج بأن دور المشرف في هذا المجال عال من وجهة نظر المعلمين. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس بينما دلت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الخبرة ولصالح الخبرة التي تزيد عن خمس سنوات. وفي ضوء النتائج توصي الدراسة: بزيادة تفعيل برامج تدريب المعلمين على المناهج الجديدة من قبل المشرفين التربويين، والتأكيد على دور المشرف كقائد تربوي في عملية تطوير المناهج.
