المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على فعالية برنامج تدريبي قائم على الأنشطة الفنية لخفض حدة السلوك النمطي التكراري في تنمية مهارات التواصل الوظيفي لدى الأطفال ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد، وبلغ عدد المشاركين (15) من طفلا وطفلة من ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد بمؤسسة ابنى للفئات الخاصة والتوحد بمصر الجديدة، وقد تراوحت أعمارهم الزمنية ما بين (7- 13) عاما، بمتوسط (8-10) عاما، وانحراف معياري (2،08)، وتراوحت نسب ذكائهم ما بين (58- 79)، بمتوسط (3، 74) وانحراف معياري (5.2)، وتم تقسيم المشاركين إلى مجموعتين: تجريبية وبلغ عدد أفرادها (7)، وضابطة وبلغ عدد أفرادها (8)، واشتملت أدوات الدراسة على لوحة جودارد للذكاء، ومقياس الطفل التوحدي، وقائمة تقييم أعراض اضطراب التوحد، ومقياس السلوك النمطي التكراري، ومقياس مهارات التواصل الوظيفي، وبرنامج تدريبي قائم على الأنشطة الفنية، وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات السلوك النمطي التكراري ومهارات التواصل الوظيفي للمجموعة التجريبية وللمجموعة الضابطة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية (في الاتجاه الأفضل)، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات السلوك النمطي التكراري ومهارات التواصل الوظيفي للمجموعة التجريبية في القياسين القبلي والبعدي لصالح القياس البعدي (في الاتجاه الأفضل)، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات السلوك النمطي التكراري ومهارات التواصل الوظيفي للمجموعة التجريبية في القياسين البعدي والمتابعة والتتبعي، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطي رتب درجات السلوك النمطي التكراري ومهارات التواصل الوظيفي للمجموعة التجريبية في القياسات المتكررة لصالح القياسات التنازلية للسلوك النمطي التكراري والتصاعدية لمهارات التواصل الوظيفي (في الاتجاه الأفضل)، كما أوصت الدارسة بأهمية ممارسة الأنشطة الفنية ضمن الخدمات التربوية المقدمة لتلك الفئة.

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on artistic activities in the reduction of stereotypical repetitive behavior in the development on functional Communication skills in children with autism spectrum disorder. The number of participants consisted of (15) of the boys and girls with autism spectrum disorder in My Son Foundation for Special Groups and Autism at Heliopolis ,the sample has ranged from the ages of (7 -10) years, with an average of (8.6) years and a standard deviation (0.62), the proportion of intelligence ranged between (58- 67), average (60.4) and standard deviation (4.62), The participants were divided into two groups, the experimental and the control, the study instruments comprised the Panel Goddard intelligence, and the measure of autistic child, list of assessing symptoms of autism, the Stereotypical Repetitive Behavior Scale, the Functional Communication Skills Scale and the Artistic Activities Program and which lasted for (23) sessions. Results of the study revealed that there are statistically significant difference between the pre and post mean score ranks of stereotypical repetitive behavior in the development on functional communication skills of the first experimental group and the second experimental in the best direction , the first control group and the second control on the other hand in favour of the post measurement of the experimental group signaling a better direction. The study also indicated that there are no statistically significant differences in the stereotypical repetitive behavior and the functional communication skills of the experimental group in the pre-, post-, and follow-up measurements. Besides, the study results revealed that there are statistically significant difference in the mean score ranks of stereotypical repetitive behavior and the functional communication skills of the experimental group in the descending measurement verferring to a better direction. Hence, the study recommends the necessity of giving the children with autism spectrum disorder the opportunity to practice artistic activities as a part of the instructional program given to such a class of children.
