المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى: كفاءة التمثيل المعرفي لدي طلبة الجامعة. دلالة الفروق في كفاءة التمثيل المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغيرات النوع (ذكور-إناث)، والتخصص (علمي -إنساني)، والصف (الثاني -الرابع) ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحثان ما يأتي: أستخدم (المنهج الوصفي) في الكشف عن كفاءة التمثيل المعرفي. بناء مقياس كفاءة التمثيل المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة، وذلك اعتمادا على الدراسات السابقة والأطر النظرية المتوافرة، وتألف المقياس في صورته النهائية بعد استكمال شرائط الصدق والثبات والقوة التمييزية ، من (٢٨) فقرة توزعت بين أربعة مجالات هي (الاستدخال ، الاستيعاب ، الترميز ، الإحلال والديمومة واستكمالا لذلك تم تطبيق المقياس على عينة قوامها (٥٠٠) طالب وطالبه في جامعة القادسية للعام الدراسي (2015- 2016) ثم حللت البيانات بالاستعانة بالحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) . وكانت النتائج كما يأتي: 1- إن طلبة الجامعة لديهم تمثيل معرفي فوق المتوسط 2- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في درجات التمثيل المعرفي تبعا لمتغير النوع (ذكور – إناث) 3-توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التمثيل المعرفي لدي طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغير الصفوف الدراسية (الثاني – الرابع) ولصالح طلبة الصف الرابع. 4- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التمثيل المعرفي لدي طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغير التخصصي الدراسي (علمي – إنساني) ولصالح التخصص العلمي. وبناءا على هذه النتائج قدم الباحثان عددا من التوصيات والمقترحات المناسبة.

The current research aims to identify:
1- The efficiency of the cognitive representation of the university students.
2- The significance of the differences in the efficiency of the representation of university students according to the gender variables (male-female), specialization (scientific-human) and the (second – fourth ) grade
To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers depended on the following:
1 – Using the (descriptive approach) in the detection of the efficiency of cognitive representation.
2 - Building a measure of the efficiency of the cognitive representation of university students, based on the previous studies and available theoretical frameworks , the measure in its final form after the completion of the tapes of validity , stability and discriminatory power consisted of (28) paragraph divided between four areas are (input, acquisition, Substitution, coding and permanence).
In addition, the scale was applied to a sample of (500) male and female students at the University of Qadisiya for the academic year (2015-2016). The data were then analyzed by using the statistical package for social sciences (spss) . The results are as follows
1. University students have above-average cognitive representation.
2- There are statistically significant differences in the degrees of cognitive representation according to the gender variable (male - female), and this was for females.
3- There are statistically significant differences in the cognitive representation of the university students according to the change in the grades (second-fourth) and this was for the fourth grade students.
4- There are statistically significant differences in the cognitive representation of the university students according to the variable of the academic specialization (scientific-human), and this was in favor of the scientific specialization.
5. Based on these findings, the authors made a number of appropriate recommendations and proposals.
