المستخلص: The article aims to try to reread a concept that is considered one of the most important means used today in civilizational communication in all fields of knowledge with its different ramifications: humanism, social, cultural, linguistic. It is an authentic article according to a completely different view of the dominant arguments in today's deliberative arenas. It is also a statement of the agony of the reference structure and its seriousness in the Western vision, and its subsequent consequences in the cognitive backgrounds of the Arab intellectuals.

Le présent article tente la relecture de l’une des notions considérées, aujourd’hui, comme l'un des outils les plus utilisés dans les échanges culturels dans tous les domaines de la connaissance: humanitaire, sociale, culturelle, linguistique....
L’approche adoptée se veut étymologique, selon une vision complètement différente des états de la dominante habituelle sur les tribunes délibératives aujourd’hui.
L ’ article se veut, également, une notice dans la succession de l'édifice référentielle, mettant en exergue le danger de la vision occidentale et ses impacts sur les fondements de base de l'intellectuel arabe.


يهدف المقال إلى محاول إعادة قراءة لمفهوم يعتبر من أهم الوسائل المستعملة اليوم في التواصل الحضاري في جميع الحقول المعرفية بتشعباتها المختلفة: الإنسانية، الاجتماعية، الثقافية، اللغوية.. وهو مقال تأصيلي وفق رؤية مغايرة تماماً للمعهود من المقولات المهيمنة في الساحات التداولية اليوم، وهو أيضاً في بيان تهافت البناء المرجعي بل وخطورته في الرؤية الغربية، وما ترتب عنها بعد ذلك في الخلفيات المعرفية للمثقف العربي.
