520 |b The research is concerned with presenting a balance between negation intensity indication in Lan "never" and La "no" in the Quranic Syntax, the main concern is indicated in three dimensions: First: proving that never is more intensive than no based on the Quranic usage and the texts of the grammarians and interpreters adopting this method. Second: revealing the confusion of some of the grammarians and interpreters' attitudes concerning the indication of never related to positive negation and the opinion of the researcher towards those attitudes, whether upholding, disagreeing and criticizing. Third: distinguishing the indication of positivity and that of intensiveness in "never". The research proved that: a. "Never" negates the future and the continuous future, i.e it does not indicate positivity unless a circumstantial evidence is found contrary to the opinion of Al-Zamakhshary. b. "no" negates the present and the future tense and indicate positivity with a circumstantial evidence also. c. "never" and "no" have similar indications of negating the action in the future and differ in that "no" is longer and "never " is more assertive with: 1- Context 2- Sound rhythm 3- Falling in the range of "will do". d. Positivity of indication in "never" is different from what some have understood since in the first the speech is based on the temporal indication, i.e indicating the extension of negating the action with a circumstantial evidence indicating it and confirming it. In the second the speech is directed towards indicating the negation of the event regardless of continuity or completeness.
