|b This semantic study contributes to revealing the secrets of the Quran rhetoric which never ends and is always miraculous. Every time we focus on the verses, we realize that it must have been descended by Al-Mighty Allah and no other. Based on that, this topic was chosen to tackle the utterances indicating span in the Holy Quran to uncover its effect on the Quran context and the recipient. The study includes two sections, the first discussed the utterances indicating distance directly, and the second tackled those that have an indirect indication. This research is an attempt to study the utterances that indicate distance in the Quran whether temporal, spatial or morale ones. Most of the terms indicating distance had a spatial indication but when they came with other utterances they indicate moral or temporal indication. While the terms indicating distance indirectly, they were much more than those with a direct indication and most of the indirect indication terms were used to address the hypocrites and the disbelievers.
