نحن نعيش الآن في عصر تعصف فيه رياح الثقافات، وتنفجر فيه المعلومات في كافة حقول العلوم، ويحتل فيه الواقع الإلكتروني مرتبة الريادة بلا منازع، مما يشكل خطرا على هويتنا وثقافتنا إذا لم ننتبه إليه، وهو ما يعني بالتبعية ضرورة البحث عن بدائل للواقع التعليمي العقيم الذي تمر به لغتنا العربية، والتركيز على دراسة اللغة في إطارها الأكثر اختصاصا، ومحاولة تكييفها لتتلاءم والتطورات الحديثة في مختلف مناحي الحياة، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار الحفاظ على العلاقة الوطيدة بين اللغة والهوية؛ فاللغة هي الوطن الحقيقي للإنسان، وإثراؤها بمثل هذه المقاربات التداولية واللسانية وغيرها يصب في النهاية لتحصين الهوية وإبقاء روح الأمة ووحدتها. فالاستعانة بمثل هذه العلوم الحديثة يجب أن يكون معول تحديث لا معول تهديم لدرسنا اللغوي الذي انبثق في القرن الثاني للهجرة ولا يزال يحمل في طياته العديد من المعاني الواسعة في كل ضرب من ضروب المعارف الإنسانية؛ فحياة كل أمة في أمرين مهمين: ماض له قداسته وحاضر له متطلباته. وانطلاقا من أن اللغة ينبوع معان لا ينضب؛ ينهل منه الناس لتحقيق أغراضهم، وقضاء مآربهم والإفصاح عن أفكارهم، والتواصل مع غيرهم مما يعني الانطلاق بالحوار والاجتهاد الفكري إلى الآفاق كلها، كان لزاما عليها ملامسة تلك العلوم الحديثة والتطورات المعرفية والتقنية الهائلة التي يشهدها العالم اليوم، مستفيدة منها بما يتناسب وطبيعتها، وينسجم مع خصائصها. ومن هنا جاءت أهمية البحث؛ فلا شك أن التداولية – موضع الدراسة – اليوم تحتل صدارة الدراسات اللغوية في العالم، فعصر اليوم هو من دون جدال عصر التداولية واللسانيات التي يجب إدخاله في صلب ثقافتنا ليعود بالنفع على الثقافة العربية، وليتحقق الهدف المرجو؛ وهو ردم الفجوة التي تتسع يوما بعد يوم بين اللغة العربية والعلوم والتقنية الحديثة.
