المستخلص: The current study was to identify the extent of the effect of psychological stress among children with mental disabilities and the families of their impact on the academic achievement of ordinary for their children a sample of families of people with the special needs, and to achieve this goal has been to follow the descriptive and comparative by applying the scale of family stress among families with the son of scale mentally disabled and information form as instruments to collect data on the sample an estimated 106 families with a disabled child another child Accordingly, the study found the existence of a correlation between the presence of a disabled child in the family and psychological pressure on the parents and ordinary brothers and that disability that will be affected on academic achievement for them and the type and severity of disability would also affect the sharpness and intensity of stress for children and hence on academic achievement, and we concluded that the parents are not affected by the intensity of their pressure and the type of disability Once the existence of a disability is a sufficient reason for the existence of this pressure.

جاءت الدراسة الحالية بهدف التعرف على مدى أثر الضغوط النفسية لدى أسر الأطفال ذوي لإعاقة العقلية و تأثيرها على التحصيل الدراسي لأبنائهم العاديين لدى عينة من أسر ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إتباع المنهج الوصفي المقارن وذلك بتطبيق مقياس مقياس الضغوط الأسرية لدى الأسر التي لديها إبن معاق عقليا واستمارة المعلومات كأدوات لجمع البيانات على عينة قدرت ب 106 أسرة لديها طفل معاق طفل اخر متمدرس. وعليه توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين وجود طفل معاق في الأسرة و الضغوط النفسية على الوالدين وألإخوة العاديين وأن الإعاقة من شأنها أن تأثر على التحصيل الدراسي لهم كما أن نوع وشدة الإعاقة من شأنه أيضا ان يؤثر على حدة وشدة الضغط النفسي للأبناء وبالتالي على التحصيل الدراسي ,كما أننا خلصنا أن الوالدين لا تتأثر شدة ضغطهم بنوع الإعاقة فبمجرد وجود الإعاقة يعد سببا كافيا لوجود هذا الضغط.
