المستخلص: يحاول البحث أن يتتبع الانزياحات اللغوية والنقدية لمصطلح فن الخطابة في الثقافة الإسلامية، ولا سيما أن هذا المصطلح كان موضع حوار وجدل، وطرح متعدد الآراء، وقسمة ظاهرة لوجهات النظر البحثية في التراث النقدي، ويطمع البحث أيضا إلى النجاح في تتبع الشروط التي طلب النقاد من الخطيب الالتزام بها؛ وذلك كي يقوم بلعب دور نشط في عملية الاتصال الجماهيري؛ إذ إن الفن الخطابي يحتاج إلى أسلوب لغوي رفيع وإلقاء مدروس، ويسعى البحث أيضًا إلى طرح مناقشة متماسكة بهدف تحديد أهم أبعاد التداخل البنائي والوظيفي المزعوم بين آليات الخطاب الشفاهي، ولا سيما ذلك التداخل القائم بين الخطبة من جهة وبين الوصية والمناظرة من جهة أخرى، فضلا عن رصد أهم المنعطفات التي أثرت الفن الخطابي، وجعلته ذا مساحات واسعة من القدرة على التعبير عن العقائد الإلهية والمذاهب السياسية، ومكنت الخطيب من إيقاظ الوحي الآتي من أعماق النفس لبث النوازع الروحية والزهدية في نفوس الجمهور المسلم، وتغيير السياق العقدي والواقع الاجتماعي، والنظام السياسي لحياة الأفراد في صدر الإسلام والعصر الأموي.

The research attempts to dig deeper into the memory of the rhetoric art idiom, and keeps track of its linguistic and critical horizons and displacements in the Islamic culture because this term was the subject of dialogue and debate, as well as a multi-view presentation, and a clear distribution of research views in the critical heritage. The research also aims to keep track of the conditions to be observed by the orator as requested by the critics; so that he can play an active role in the process of mass communication since this oratory art needs a high-level linguistic style and a thoughtful presentation. The research also seeks to present a coherent discussion to identify the most important dimensions of the alleged structural and functional overlapping between the mechanisms of oral speech, and in particular the overlap between the sermon on the one hand and the commandment and debate on the other. Furthermore, the paper examines the most important turning points that enriched this rhetorical art. It also explained the ability of the orators to express divine beliefs and political schools of thought, and enabled the orator to awaken the inspiration coming from the depths of the human soul to disseminate the spiritual and ascetic impulses in the hearts of the Muslim public. It also examined the orator’s ability to change the dogmatic context and social reality, and the political system of people who lived in the early days of Islam, and the Umayyad period.
