The Islamic glass Art is one of the most important Islamic Applied Arts Heritage, Which combined between art and function and put the foundations and principles of many of modem glass techniques. The Arab lands was the cradle of this important heritage art, so there is a need to revive this heritage, not only for the industrial interests but also for the academic, which strives to these studies of the archaeological heritage and making links between the various Arab cultures to each other. The research aims to developing a course (including syllabus and contents) that will emphasize the importance of reviving the heritage of Islamic glass vessels. This Knowledge is obtained through theoretical and practical studies of history, technology, and analysis of the Islamic glass vessels which meet the multiple requirements of the academic and technological Arabs communities, which owe this heritage. The significance of this research is not only by reviving this heritage production, but also for providing teaching and learning processes at different universities, museums and art branches, archeology and material sciences in both Egypt and all Arab world. |
