This paper aims to estimate the relationship between good governance and human development, for a sample of nineteen (19) countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) during the period (1996-2012), The results indicate that; the control of corruption index and the level of political stability and absence of violence has significant effect on human development in MENA countries , The research found that the improvement in the level of participation and accountability, and the level of effectiveness of the government lead to improve the Life expectancy index , While the results show also that, the level of political stability and absence of violence, and the The rule of law affect the Education index, The research found that, Good governance indicators has no significant effect on Income Index in MENA countries.
