|a تحددت مشكلة الدراسة في التحقق من أثر استخدام استراتيجية التلخيص على تنمية مهارات الفهم الاستماعي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي. ولدراسة هذه المشكلة والإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة اتبعت الدراسة الخطوات التالية: تحديد قائمة بمهارات الفهم الاستماعي المناسبة لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي المرتبطة باستراتيجية التلخيص. تحديد إجراءات التدريس باستخدام استراتيجية التلخيص لتنمية مهارات الفهم الاستماعي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي. إعداد دليل المعلم لتنمية مهارات الفهم الاستماعي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي باستخدام استراتيجية التلخيص. قياس أثر الاستراتيجية في تنمية مهارات الفهم الاستماعي من خلال اختبار الفهم الاستماعي. تحليل البيانات إحصائياً. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة فعالية استراتيجية التلخيص في مهارات الفهم الاستماعي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي
