|a تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على صورة المرأة في أعمال الفنان عبد الحي مسلم، الذي اتكأ على موضوع المرأة ليوظفه في أعماله الفنية، وقد انطلق الباحث في دراسته من فرضية البحث وهي: الحضور الدائم لموضوع المرأة في أعمال مسلم، والذي امتد لفترة زمنية تزيد عن نصف قرن تباينت فيها مستويات الحضور التشكيلية والفكرية التي أظهرت تحولا في صورة المرأة، وتكمن أهمية البحث في أنه يعد البحث الأول الذي يتناول صورة المرأة في أعمال الفنان مسلم حيث يتقصى الباحث تساؤلات حول صورة المرأة وتحولاتها ومحمولاتها الفكرية وطرق إنتاج صورها.

|b This study aims at analyzing the image of woman in the work of Abed Alhai Moslam. Woman has been a dominant theme of Moslam’s work. The researcher starts his study assuming that woman has been always been a present symbol in the work of the artists. This presence of the woman which has been accompanying the artist’s work for over 50 years during which a change in both the craft of painting and the intellectual discourse has been noted. This study is the first that inclusively investigates the image of the woman in the work of Abed Alhai Moslam where the researcher answers questions related to the image of the woman, her transformations, her intellectual discourses, and the artistic craft of producing that image.
