المستخلص: يزخر القرآن الكريم بالعديد من الآيات التي تخاطب الإنسان داعية إياه بصورة خاصة إلى استخدام عقله وإلى السير في الأرض والنظر في الآفاق والتدبر فيما يتبدى فيهما من ظواهر كونية طبيعية وإنسانية واجتماعية، وذلك من أجل فهم تلك الظواهر بالوقف على إدراك أسبابها وعلاقاتها وآثارها ومن ثم إدراك ما تنطوي عليه من حكمة وما تؤديه من وظائف في الوجود. وإذا كان ذلك قد يتخذ صورة البحث العلمي المنهجي على أيدي العلماء المتخصصين الذين يدرسون تلك الظاهر المختلفة في مختلف أبعادها، فإنه لا يعني عام الناس ممن ليس مهارات العلماء المتخصصين ليس حظ من هذه الدعوة القرآنية، بل لكل شخص حسب وضعه وقدراته أن يحقق شيئًا من ذلك. وفي هذا الإطار يأتي هذا البحث الذي يسعى للنظر من منظور قرآني في موضوع السياحة التي أصبحت صناعة اجتماعية واقتصادية مهمة في الكثير من بلدان العالم ذات آثار كبيرة اقتصاديا وثقافيا واجتماعيا، ليس فقط بالنسبة للبلدان المستضيفة للسياح بل لهم ولمجتمعاتهم. ولما كانت السياحة سفرًا وحركة من بلد الموطن إلى غيره من بلدان العالم، فإنها ليست مجرد نشاط للترويح عن النفس يقوم به المنخرطون فيها، بل إنها تعني الاختلاط بأهل تلك البلدان والاطلاع على أحوالهم وبيئاتهم والتعرف على ثقافاتهم وتقاليدهم. ومن ثم فالسياحة تحقق مقاصد مهمة في حياة الأفراد والشعوب بفعل ما يحصل عن طريقها من تفاعل بين البشر، الأمر الذي يثري التجربة الإنسانية بصور مختلفة للأطراف المنخرطة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة. وهذا ما يجعلها موضوعًا جديرًا بالبحث والنظر في ضوء دعوة القرآن الآنفة الذكر.

The Qur’an abounds with many verses that address human beings calling them specifically to walk around the earth, look into the horizons and reflect on the different natural, human and social phenomena in order to comprehend them by knowing their causes, relationships and effects, thus realizing the deep wisdom underlying them and the functions they fulfill. If such enterprise takes the form of systematic scientific research at the hands of specialized scholars who study such phenomena in their different dimensions, this does not mean that ordinary people lacking the skills of specialized scholars do not the chance to benefit this Qur’anic call; rather each person may have a lot thereof depending his status and conditions. In this context the present article examines from a Qur’anic perspective the subject of tourism which has become an important social and economic industry in many countries of the world, with considerable economic, social and cultural consequences, not only for the host countries, but for tourists as well as their countries of origin. And since tourism involves travelling and movement from one’s home country to other countries of the world, it does not consist of an activity for mere recreation and amusement undertaken by the tourist; it actually consists of associating with the natives of those countries, acquainting oneself with their conditions and environment and knowing their cultures and traditions. Likewise, tourism fulfills great purposes in the life of individuals and peoples thanks to the interactions occurring through it among human beings, thus enriching in different ways the human experience of all those who are directly or indirectly. This is what makes it a subject worthy of study in light of the Qur’anic call mentioned above.
