وردت لفظة النظر في الفرآن الكريم بتصريفاتها الممددة في مواضع كثيرة، بدلالات متنوعة لما لها من أهمية في البحث في الوجوب في معرفة الله تعالى، فيما بخص ضرورة إعمال العقل وحثه على التأمل والتدبر والترقب في الكون والاهتداء إلى البراهين والأدلة والبحث والاستقصاء عن الآيات والحجج الدالة على خالق الوجود، ومبدع الكون، وهذا يعني أن النظر هو الفكر المرتب في النفس على طريق يقضي الى العلم أو الظن، زيادة على دلالتها على الإهمال والتأخير والبصر والتبصر والبصيرة والرحمة، ولذلك سنجعل البحث مقسما على: مقدمة وتمهيد ومبحثين، أما التمهيد فسنتناول فيه مفهوم لفظة (النظر) لغة واصطلاحا، وأما المبحث الأول فسندرس فيه دلالة ألفاظ النظر (الصيغة الاسمية) المختصة بمستشفيات مادة (ن،ظ،ر) وتصريفاتها، وما تقدمة من دلالات إيجابية ثانوية ساعدت على تعضيد المعني. وسنعول في هذا البحث على الكتب اللغوية والنحوية والصرفية وكتب التفسير المختلفة، وسننهي البحث بخاتمة توجز نجها أهم ما توصل اليه البحث من نتائج.
