المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على درجة توافر القيم الاجتماعية اللازم توافرها في محتوى كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية المقررة علي طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي متمثلا بأسلوب تحليل المحتوى، إذ تم تحليل محتوى كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية المقررة علي طالبات الصف الثاني المتوسط، وأعدت الباحثة لهذا الغرض أداة تحليل المحتوى، التي تم بناؤها في ضوء القيم الاجتماعية المحكمة، والتي بلغ عددها(44) مهارة توزعت على (9) مهارات رئيسة وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى توافر بعض القيم الاجتماعية في كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية بالصف الثاني المتوسط بنسب ما بين متوسط وضعيفة، وغياب عدد كبير من القيم الاجتماعية الفرعية عن كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية بالصف الثاني المتوسط، عدم التوازن في تضمين القيم الاجتماعية داخل كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية بالصف الثاني المتوسط وهذا يشير إلى عدم العناية التامة بضرورة تضمين القيم الاجتماعية في كتب الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية بالصف الثاني المتوسط، علي الرغم من أهمية هذه القيم في حياة الطالبات، وفي ضوء هذه النتائج أوصت الباحثة بالتركيز علي ترسيخ القيم الاجتماعية التي تم التوصل إليها في نفوس الطالبات، وذلك بتضمينها في مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية، وتضمين القيم الاجتماعية في مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية مع مراعاة التكامل والشمول بين الموضوعات في المناهج عند تضمينها وإعادة النظر في تقديم القيم الاجتماعية في مناهج الدراسات الاجتماعية والوطنية بشكل يحقق المزيد من الاستمرارية وبشرط تناسب القيم مع مستوي نضج الطالبات في المرحلة العمرية المستهدفة.

The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of social values necessary to be provided in the content of social and national studies books prescribed for middle second-grade female students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach represented by the method of content analysis, as the content of social and national studies books prescribed for middle second-grade female students was analyzed. For this purpose, the researcher prepared a content analysis tool, which was built in light of the arbitrated social values, which reached (44) skills distributed into (9) major skills. The study found the availability of some social values in the social and national studies textbooks in the middle second grade with ratios between average and weak, the absence of a large number of social sub-values from the books of social and national studies in the middle second grade, and the imbalance in including social values within the social and national studies books in the middle second grade . This indicates a lack of full attention to the necessity of including social values in the books of social and national studies in the middle second grade, despite the importance of these values in the lives of female students. In light of these results, the researcher recommended focusing on consolidating the social values that have been reached in the hearts of female students, by including them in the curricula of social and national studies, and to include social values in the curricula of social and national studies, taking into account the integration and comprehensiveness of topics in the curricula when including them and reviewing the presentation of values social studies in the curricula of social and national studies in a manner that achieves more continuity provided that the values correspond to the maturity level of female students in the target age group
