|a إن تعقيد تغير المناخ وآثاره على أداء النظم الإيكولوجية يترك عواقب جسمية على البيئة البشرية، بسبب الترابط الوثيق ما بين المجتمعات وبيئتها، ومن بين هذه العواقب هو نزوح السكان وظهور فئة جديدة تعرف باسم – اللاجئين البيئيين – الذي هو بلا شك واحدة من التأثيرات المباشرة التي يصعب إدارتها بسبب ضخامة حجمها، لقد تسببت الكوارث المرتبطة بالمناخ بهجرة ما يقارب 20 مليون نسمة في عام 2008 وفقاً للأمم المتحدة بينما تشير التقديرات المتوقعة إلى أنه سيكون هناك أكثر 200 مليون مهاجر بحلول عام 2050 بسبب الاضطرابات البيئية، أن هذا الأمر يتطلب أن تكون هناك تدابير مبتكرة لمعالجة الآثار الإنسانية المترتبة على تغير المناخ والتدهور البيئي، ولا سيما فيما يتعلق باللاجئين البيئيين باعتبارهم الفئة الأكثر تضرراً في ظل عدم وجود معالجة قانونية خاصة بهم.

|f The complexity of climate change and its impact on ecosystem performance leaves serious consequences for the human environment, due to the close relationship between communities and their environment. These consequences include the displacement of populations and the emergence of a new group called - environmental refugees - that is thought to be one of the direct effects of climate change which is difficult to handle due to the magnitude of its size. Climate-related disasters led to the migration of about 20 million people in 2008, according to the United Nations, while projected estimates indicate that there will be more than 200 million migrants by 2050 due to environmental disturbances. Indeed, this requires innovative measures to address the humanitarian consequences of climate change and environmental degradation, particularly with regard to environmental refugees, who are considered to be the most affected group in the absence of special legal treatment of this issue\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018

|d La complexité du changement climatique et son impact sur la performance des écosystèmes laisse de graves conséquences sur l'environnement humain, en raison de la relation étroite entre les communautés et leur environnement, parmi ces conséquences est le déplacement des populations et l'émergence d'une nouvelle catégorie appelée - des réfugiés écologiques - qui est considérée sans doute l'un des effets directs du changement climatique qui sont difficiles à gérer en raison de l'ampleur de sa taille.
