المستخلص: الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده، أما بعد:
فإن تفسير الإمام البغوي - رحمه الله - معدود من خيرة التفاسير بالمأثور، إضافة إلى التزامه بمنهج السلف في الاعتقاد، وسلامته من البدع والتأويل المذموم، وقد اعتمد كثيرا على تفسير الثعلبي (الكشف والبيان)، مختصرا ومهذبا، فاستحق أن يكون مرجعا مهما للتفسير بالمأثور، ولذا كان من أهم مراجع الحافظ ابن كثير- رحمه الله- في تفسيره، وفي كان ابن كثير من الأئمة الحفاظ المحققين؛ فقد استدرك على البغوي عددا من المسائل العقدية (من فروع العقيدة) والحديثية واللغوية، وهي قليلة مقارنة بتفسيره المتوسط، وقد قمت بجمع هذه الاستدراكات ودراستها، لما فيها من الفوائد والقيمة العلمية وقد اشتمل البحث على مقدمة تبين أهمية الموضوع وسبب اختياره، وخطة البحث. ثم تمهيد اشتمل على مطلبين: الأول: تضمن تعريف الاستدراك وأهميته.
والثاني: تضمن التعريف بالإمامين الجليلين: الحافظ ابن كثير والحافظ البغوي عليهما رحمة الله تعالى. ثم ثلاثة مباحث رئيسة: الأول تضمن الاستدراكات العقدية، والثاني للاستدراكات الحديثية، والثالث للاستدراكات اللغوية، ثم خاتمة ضمنتها أهم النتائج والتوصيات. سائلا المولى عن وجل التوفيق والسداد

Praise be to God alone, and peace and blessings be upon the prophet after whom there will not be any prophet, and thereafter:
The interpretation of Imam al-Baghawi - may God have mercy on him - is one of the finest interpretations of the Quran by the Quran, in addition to his obligation to the methodology of the predecessors in belief and its faultlessness from heresy and objectionable interpretation. He relied a lot on the explanation of al-Tha'labi (Al-Kashf Wa Al-Bayan), briefly and respectfully and deserved to be an important reference to the interpretation of the Quran. It was one of the most important sources of Hafiz Ibn Kathir in his Tafsir. As Ibn Kathir was one of the prominent researcher Hafiz (memorizer) and Imam, he made some corrections in some issues related to the branches of faith, and some new and linguistic issues mentioned by al-Baghawi which is very few in comparison with his Tafsir Al-mutawassit. I have collected these corrections and studied them because of their benefits and educational value. The research consists of an introduction which shows the importance of the subject and reason for choosing it and planning of the research. After that a preface which consists of two parts, the first part contains the definition of “pointing out to faults” and its importance. The second part contains the introductions of the two preeminent Imams: Al-hafiz Ibn Kathir and Al-hafiz Al-Baghawi -may God have mercy on them. Then three main topics. The first topic consists of the corrections related to faith, second topic is about corrections related to new issues, and the third topic is on the linguistic corrections. Then the conclusion which consists of important results and recommendations, asking the lord for guidance and correctness.
