شهد تاريخ الدولة العثمانية الكثير من المشاكل والتي تعاملت معها هذه الدولة كل حسب ظروفها وأسبابها وطبيعتها خوفا من تداعياتها ، وحيث أن هذه الدراسة تتناول المشكلة الأرمينية التي كانت نتائجها علي الدولة العثمانية كبيرة جدا فقد فتحت الأبواب لتدخل بعض الدولة الأجنبية في شؤون الدولة العثمانية حسب مصالحها . المتتبع لهذه المشكلة يقف أمام وضعها الاستثنائي نظرا لخلفية هذه الإثنية سواء الدينية أو العرقية ، بدأت المشكلة الأرمينية في وقت مبكر عن فترة موضوع هذه الدراسة، فبعد أن كان الأرمن يعيشون مسالمين في إطار الدولة العثمانية حتي أطلق عليهم (( الملة الصادقة )) يبدو أنه و نتيجة للكثير من الأسباب الداخلية و الخارجية والتي ظهرت في بداية القرن التاسع عشر وجعلت الأرمن يحاولون استغلال هذه الأسباب من أجل تحقيق أمانيهم في الحصول علي الحكم الذاتي في إطار الدولة العثمانية ثم تطورت مطالبهم إلي الاستقلال التام . مرت القضية الأرمنية بعدة مراحل حتى وصلت إلى مرحلة العنف والصدام الدموي مع السلطات العثمانية وقد استغلت هذه القضية من بعض الدول الأوروبية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية كل حسب مصالحها في الدولة العثمانية ، من جهة أخرى حاولت الدولة العثمانية معالجة هذه القضية بالمهادنة تارة وبالعنف تارة أخرى من أجل القضاء عليها لما تمثله تداعياتها من خطر علي كيان الدولة وربما خوفا من تشجيع الأقليات الأخرى للمطالبة بنفس المطالب وسنترك تفاصيل هذه القضية من خلال تتبعنا لهذه الدراسة.
The history of the Ottoman Empire had met a lot of problems dealt with, by this state, each according to their circumstances, causes, nature, and its repercussions. This study deals with the problem of the Armenian whose results were very great on the Ottoman Empire, where it opened the doors to the intervention of some foreign countries in the Ottoman state affairs according to their interests. Observer to this problem shall notice its exceptional situation due to the background of this ethnic, whether religious or ethnic. Armenian problem began in the early time of the period of this subject of this study. Armenians were living peacefully within the Ottoman Empire and they were named ‘ the honest sect “, but because of many inside and outside reasons, appeared in the nineteenth century, Armenians tried to exploit these reasons to achieve their aspirations to get autonomy, within the framework of the Ottoman Empire, and then these aspirations became as demands for full independence. Armenian case went through several stages, including violence and bloody confrontation with the Ottoman authorities. This case has been exploited by some European countries and the United States, each according to his interests in the Ottoman Empire. On the other side, The Ottoman Empire tried to treat this case sometimes calming and by violence at other times in order to eliminate it, as such repercussions of this case could threat the structure of the state, and could help other minorities to ask for the same demands. We shall see the details of this case through our following-up of this study.
