In this study the horse radish peroxidase was isolated from raphanus sativnsl. Several methods for its isolation and purification have been used, the isolated horse — radish peroxide (HRP) was used in oxidation kinetic study of cresols. The study showed that the reaction was first order in peroxides and in substrate (cresols) at low concentration of cresols while the reaction was zero order at high concentration at moderate concentration, the reaction neither first nor zero order reaction , but the relation between substrate and reaction speed of HRP suit for Michaelis -Menten equation . |
