المستخلص: The research aims to identify the points of similarity between the “Mabniy” nouns (Damaa’ir, Asmaa’ Ash-Shart, Al-Istifhaam, Al-Ishaarah, Al-Asmaa’ ul-Mawsoolah, Asmaa’ ul-Af’aal and Asmaa’ ul-Aswaat) and the Huroof (pronouns), as these points of similarity are the reason for these nouns being “Mabniy” according to some grammarians. That is because the original position in respect to the nouns (Asmaa’) is that they be “Mu’rabah”, however they made them “Mabniy” if they resembled the Huroof (prepositions). I have limited the research to the types mentioned above because research into the reasons for the “Mabniy” classification is lengthy and not within the remits of the current research. The similarity between these nouns and Huroof has many facets and varies from one area to another. The similarity of pronouns to Huroof (prepositions) differs from the similarity of Zhuroof to Huroof. The same applies as well in respect to the Asmaa’ ul-Ishaarah, Asmaa’ ul-Af’aal, Asmaa’ ul-Mawsoolah, Asmaa’ ul-Istifhaam and the Shart. As such, the opinions of the scholars concerning the reason for these nouns being “Mabniy” were numerous. Their pens quarreled when delving into this subject until the threads became entangled, whilst the true reasons for the “Mabniy” remained unclear.

يهدف البحث إلى الوقوف على أوجه الشبه بين الأسماء المبنية (الضمائر وأسماء الشرط والاستفهام والإشارة والأسماء الموصولة وأسماء الأفعال وأسماء الأصوات) والحروف، إذ إن هذه الأوجه في الشبه هي سبب بناء هذه الأسماء عند بعض النحاة، لأن الأصل في الأسماء أن تكون معربة، ولكنها تبنى عندهم إذا أشبهت الحروف. وقد قصرت البحث على هذه الأنواع السابقة الذكر لأن البحث في أسباب بناء الأسماء أبحاث طويلة، لا يحتملها المقام. فالشبه بين هذه الأسماء والحروف تعددت وجوهه، واختلف من باب إلى آخر، فشبه الضمائر بالحروف يختلف عن شبه الظروف بالحروف، وكذلك أسماء الإشارة وأسماء الأفعال والأسماء الموصولة وأسماء الاستفهام والشرط. لذلك تعددت آراء العلماء في سبب البناء، اشتجرت أقلامهم في الخوض في هذا الموضع حتى تشابكت الخيوط، ولم تتضح أسباب البناء الحقيقية.
