المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن الرمز عند المتصوفة معناه ودوافعه. واقتصر البحث على معني الرمز لغة واصطلاحا ومستوياته والرمز عند المتصوفة. واختتم البحث بملخص شامل عن فكرة الموضوع وهي اختلاف الرمز عن الرمز الرياضي الذي يشير الى انتماء عنصر الى مجموعة معينة أو بعد وعلامة على كم مجهول. فالعلاقة بينهما هي علاقة الجزء بالكل وهو من زمرة الرموز العلمية التي تعتمد أدوات تيسر التفكير وهي رموز قارة ومتفق عليه بصورة موجزة. كما يختلف الرمز عن الصورة التي قد تتحول لتصبح رمزا إذا ما جري تكثيفها واقتصاد مفراداتها مع تعميق دلالتها كما يقول محمد علي كندي. وكذلك يختلف الرمز عن العلامة والنسق. وكما رأينا تتعدد تعريفات الرمز وتختلف باختلاف الحقول المعرفية التي تناولته. ولما كان الرمز الصوفي موضوع البحث يرتبط بالنص الأدبي. لذلك أشار أن الرمز الصوفي بمعناه الفني الادبي يختلف عن الرمز الصوفي الاصطلاحي الذي تشير فيه الكلمة الى موضوع معين إشارة مباشرة. فهو رمز متواضع عليه يحيل الى محدد. حيث إن الرمز الأدبي يحيل الى وجوه متعددة من القراءات التي تحمل في كوامنها الايماء والتلويح.

The aim of the research is to uncover the meaning and motives of the symbol according to Sufism. The research was limited to the linguistic and terminological meaning of the symbol, its levels and the symbol according to Sufism. The research concluded with a comprehensive summary of the idea of the subject, which is the difference between the symbol and the mathematical symbol, which refers to the belonging of an element to a certain group or a dimension and a sign of the unknown quantity. The relationship between them is the relationship of the part to the whole is one of a group of scientific symbols that adopt tools that facilitate thinking, which are briefly agreed symbols. In addition, the research concluded with that the symbol is different from the form that could return to become a symbol if it has been intensified and economized its items with the deepening of its significance, says Mohammed Ali Kennedym as well as the symbol differs from the mark and the pattern. As we have seen, the definitions of the symbol are numerous and varied according to the fields of knowledge that have dealt with it. Since the mystical symbol was the issue of the research that is related to the literary text, therefore it pointed out that the mystical symbol in its artistic literary meaning is different from the terminological meaning of the mystical symbol in which the word refers to a specific subject directly. It is a modest symbol that refers to something specific, as the literary symbol refers to various facets of the readings that imply gestures and waving.
