المستخلص: L’acte de communication dépend de trois facteurs : un émetteur, un récepteur et un message. Cet acte devient plus complexe lorsque émetteur et récepteur interagissent entre eux, mais la réalisation de cette opération de communication ne devient effective qu’en attirant l’attention, grâce à ce que Roman Jakobson appelle la fonction phatique. Il affirme à ce propos : « Il y a des messages qui servent essentiellement à établir, prolonger, ou interrompre la communication ». Lorsqu’il est question d’établir et de prolonger la communication, l’intention du destinateur du discours devient plus évidente, comme le deviennent aussi ses mécanismes et ses ruses visant à rendre opératoire cette volonté de communiquer avec ses destinataires. Notre objectif dans cette recherche est d’examiner les mécanismes et les méthodes inventées par l’émetteur du discours romanesque pour attirer l’attention de son lecteur sur son śuvre et ce à travers un extrait de l’śuvre romanesque féminine de l’Arabie saoudite dont l’aire de réception du discours s’est élargie, touchant des tranches d’âge et des couches sociales diversifiées. Notre propos ici est d’approcher ce phénomène en essayant de répondre aux questions suivantes : Est-ce que cette réception a lieu à travers une réelle volonté de la romancière saoudienne de communiquer avec sa société ? Quel est le rôle de l’intentionnalité, au sens académique du terme, dans cette approche de la romancière? Quelles sont les méthodes suivies par la romancière pour faire aboutir cet objectif communicationnel? Quels sont les résultats auxquels nous pouvons parvenir en examinant ce phénomène?

The act of communication depends on three factors : a transmitter, a receiver and a message. This act becomes more complex when transmitter and receiver interact with each other, but the realization of this communication operation becomes effective only by attracting the attention, thanks to what Roman Jakobson calls the phatic function. He affirms regarding this purpose: "There are messages that essentially serve to establish, prolong, or interrupt the communication." When it comes to establish and extend communication, the intention of the discourse maker becomes more obvious, as he does his mechanisms and his tricks to make this desire to communicate with his recipients.

Our objective in this research is to examine the mechanisms and the ways of thinking invented by the sender of the novelistic discourse in order to attract the reader's attention to his literary work and this has been achieved through an extraction from the feminine fiction of Saudi Arabia whose the range of speech reception has been expanded, affecting age groups and diverse social strata. Our purpose here is to approach this phenomenon by trying to answer the following questions :

Is this reception taking place through a real desire of the Saudi female novelist to communicate with her society?

What is the role of intentionality, in the academic sense of the term, in this approach of the female novelist?

What are the methods followed by the female novelist to achieve this communicative goal?
What are the results we can achieve by examining this phenomenon?
