| 520 | |b Segmentation of a road borders based on special texture features algorithm is developed for extraction of a road borders from the contents of a digital image produced by camera mounted on autonomous vehicle is presented in this paper. A road boundary extraction is an important step in the context of autonomous vehicle guidance, enabling further calculations of a distance from the border, direction of a road, etc. The main idea behind this approach is that the texture of a road is segmented from different road image contents based on textures characterizing, allowing the separation of the overall image into few distinguishable regions. The classification algorithm used best texture descriptors one from statistical group and special structure group. | ||
