المستخلص: La problématique que révèle l’accès de la femme à la sphère publique dans les sociétés patriarcales est la « mixité », un sujet de haute importance, tant pour la compréhension de l’évolution des rapports sexués « dominant- dominé », que la compréhension des modes de changements opérés dans une société donnée. Il s’agit des changements dans les genres de pensées et de mentalités individuelles et sociales. Les données de cette étude qualitative auprès de jeunes universitaires algériens, font état d’un diagnostic des rapports conflictuels dans la répartition des espaces sexués. La combinaison des représentations issues du système de normes traditionnel est à l’origine de ces conflits. Bien que ces jeunes soient instruits et aspirent à la modernité, qu’ils critiquent les traditions et qu’ils n’aient pas adopté le même comportement vestimentaire que leurs aînés, ils restent hostiles à l’idée d’une occupation totale des espaces publics par les femmes

The issue of women's access to the public sphere in patriarchal societies is related to "diversity/ mixing". This subject is of great importance both for understanding the evolution of "dominantdominated" sexual relationships, and also the ways change is operated in a given society. These changes pertain to a shift in thoughts and mentality for the individual, and society as a whole. The data of this qualitative study among young Algerian scholars reveals conflicting relationships in the distribution of sexual spaces. The combination of representations from the traditional system of norms is responsible of these conflicts. Although these young people are educated and aspiring to modernity because they criticize traditions and have not adopted the same behavior as their elders, they remain hostile to the idea of a total occupation of public spaces by women

إن الأشكال الذي يجليه خروج المرأة للقضاء العام في المجتمعات البطربركية، هو "الاختلاط"، والذي يعتبر موضوعا مهما في فهم تطور العلاقات الجنوسية المرتكزة على الهيمنة في مجتمع معين، وفي نفس الوقت يسمح بفهم ملامح التغير في آليات التفكير والذهنيات الفردية والاجتماعية. تشخص معطيات هذه الدراسة الكيفية بين عينة من الشباب الجامعي الجزائري وجود علاقات صراع في التوزيع الجنسي للفضاء، وذلك راجع لاستلهام تمثلاتهم من منظومة القيم التقليدية. فعلى الرغم من مستواهم التعليمي الجامعي ذكورا وإناثا، وعلى الرغم من أنهم يطمحون إلى التحديث، وبالرغم من أنهم ينتقدون التقاليد والعادات، وعلى الرغم من اختلافهم عن آباءهم وأجدادهم في هندامهم وأشكالهم اللباسية، إلا أنهم لا يتقبلون كليا أن تشغل المرأة جميع الفضاءات العامة.
