هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن فاعلية المعمل الافتراضي في القرن الحادي والعشرين. حيث أشارت إلى ان العالم خلال العقود الماضية قد شهد تغيرات سريعة ومتلاحقة في مختلف ميادين الحياة وخصوصا ميادين العلوم التطبيقية وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات. كما أوضح مفهوم المعامل الافتراضية وهو أحد مستحدثات تكنولوجيا التعليم والذي يعد بيئة تعليم مصطنعة أو خيالية بديلة عن الواقع الحقيقي وتحاكيه. واستندت الدراسة على مجموعة من المحاور من أهمها مفهوم المعامل الافتراضية وخصائص التعليم في المختبر الافتراضي والأهداف التعليمية كجزأ من عملية التخطيط. وكما أكدت على ان هناك العديد من الدراسات العربية والأجنبية التي اهتمت باستخدام المعامل الدراسية في المجالات المختلفة والتي اثبتت فاعلية استخدامها وتحقيق الأهداف المحددة. وجاءت النتائج مؤكدة على انه قد أصبح من الضروري مواكبة السياسة التعليمية لمتطلبات روح العصر الذي نعيشه فيه ومواجهة تحديات المستقبل الذي سيشهد المزيد من الانفجار السكاني والمعرفي وقد أسهم هذا التطور في انشاء المعامل الافتراضية والتوسع في إعداد برمجياتها. كما ستؤثر المعامل الحديثة في المناهج الدراسية وطبيعتها ومحتواها ومدي توفرها في صورة الكترونية وفي عملية التقويم وكيفيتها. وأدراك دور الإنترنت في العملية التعليمية التعلمية مما سيقود إلى تعلم ذي معني يهدف إلى تنمية مهارات ما وراء المعرفة ومهارات التفكير. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة ابتكار منهج يتسم بالإبداع وعدم التقيد بالطرق التقليدية بل لابد من التنوع ولا يعني ذلك الاعتماد الكامل على الإنترنت باختصار هذا النهج عليه. بل لابد ان يكون خلاقا مبدعا وبسيطا في الوقت نفسه مع ضرورة مراعاة خصائص الفئة المستهدفة.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The present study aimed at revealing the effectiveness of the virtual laboratory in the 21st century, pointing out that the world over the past decades has witnessed the rapid and the successive changes in the various fields of life, especially fields of the applied science, information and the communication technology. It also explained the concept of the virtual laboratories, one of the innovations of the technology of education, which is an artificial or a fictional learning environment which is alternative to the real fact and its imitations. The study was based on a number of axes, most notably the concept of the virtual laboratories and the characteristics of education in the virtual laboratory and the educational objectives as a part of the planning process. It also stressed that there are many Arab and foreign studies that have focused on the use of laboratories in different fields, which proved the effective use and the achievement of the set goals. The results confirmed that it has become necessary to keep up with the educational policy of the current requirements of our times in which we live and meet the challenges of the future, which will witness further explosion of the population and the knowledge . This contributed to the development of the virtual laboratories and the expansion of the preparation of their software. The modern laboratories will also affect the curricula, their nature, the content and the availability in an electronic form and in the evaluation process and its quality, and appreciating the role of the Internet in the educational process of learning, which will lead to the meaningful learning aimed at developing the skills of meta-cognitive and thinking skills.
