هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر عوامل : جنس الطالب وخلفيته الجغرافية وتعليم والده وتعليم والدته ودخل عائلته الشهري في اتجاهاته نحو مكانة المرأة في المجتمع الفلسطيني عموماً، ونحو مختلف الاتجاهات الفرعية ؛أعنى: الاتجاه نحو حقوق المرأة السياسية والاتجاه نحو مكانتها في البيت، والاتجاه نحو طبيعتها، الاجتماعية، والاتجاه نحو اختلاط الجنسين٠ وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (171) طالباً وطالبة، اختيرت من جامعة الخليل وجامعة بوليتكنيك فلسطين وجامعة بيت لحم. وقد استخدم الباحث مقياس حافظ للاتجاهات نحو مكانة المرأة والذي طوره على البيئة الأردنية على الزغل. وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه لا يوجد فروق في كل من تعليم الأب وتعليم الأم والخلفية المكانية لأفراد العينة، في حين كان هناك فروق فيما يتعلق بمتغير جنس الطالب؛ إذ كانت الفروق تميل لصالح الإناث بصورة ايجابية؛ أي كانت الإناث تنظر الى جنسها نظرة أفضل من الرجل إليها، كما انه وجدت فروق في متغير الخلفية المكانية لوالدي الطلاب والطالبات من حيث المولد، سواء كان مولودا في فلسطين أو في خارجها؛ إذ تبين أن الذين ولدوا في فلسطين كانوا ينظرون إلى المرأة وإلي عملها ودورها في المجتمع واختلاطها مع الرجال بصورة ايجابية من الذين ولدوا خارج فلسطين، وبناء طى ذلك فقد قدم الباحث مجموعة من التوصيات للمهتمين في الدراسات المتعلقة بالمرأة في المستقبل.
This study aimed at acknowledging the influence of the factors of the sex of the student , his geographical background , his father's education , his mother's education and the monthly income of his family on his attitudes towards the status of woman in the Palestinian society in general. And on the sub-attitudes, the attitude towards the political woman's right, the attitude towards her position at home, the between the two sexes. The sample of the study is consisted of (171) students, male & female. These students have been selected from Hebron University, Palestine Politicnic University and Bethlehem University. The researcher used Hafez's Scale of attitudes towards the status of woman, which has been developed on the Jordan environment on Zoghl. The results of the study indicated that there are no differences in each of father's education, mother's education and the status background of the individuals of the sample whereas there are differences related to the variable of sex of the student. The differences tended to be in the favor of females positively as the females look to their sex better than the males do. It has been found, also, differences in the variable of status background of the parents of the students, males and females from the point of view of birth; the newborn is either from Palestine were looking to the woman, to her work, to her role in the society and her mixture with the males in a more positively way that those who were born outside Palestine. As a result, the researcher suggested some recommendations for those who are interested in the studies related to the woman in the future.
