المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن المنطلقات الفكرية للفلسفة البراجماتية، وبيان تطبيقاتها التربوية في مجال أهداف التربية، والطالب، والمعلم، والمقرر الدراسي، وطرق التدريس، وأساليب التقويم، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على أبرز إيجابياتها، وأهم سلبياتها. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الوثائقي، وكشفت عن عدد من النتائج، من أهمها: أن أبرز المنطلقات الفكرية للفلسفة البراجماتية هي: الاعتقاد بوجود عالم واحد فقط، وهو الجانب المرئي والمحسوس من العالم، والنظرة إلى الإنسان نظرة متكاملة تجمع بين العقل والجسد، بالإضافة إلى إنكار الجانب (الميتافيزيقي) من الكون، والتأكيد على أن معرفة الإنسان محدودة بنطاق خبرته. بينما كانت أهم التطبيقات التربوية للفلسفة البراجماتية هي: التأكيد على ضرورة تمركز العمل التربوي حول الطفل، وجعل الطالب في موقف إيجابي وليس سلبي، أما المعلم في الفلسفة البراجماتية فهو موجه، ومرشد، ومخطط للموقف التعليمي، بالإضافة إلى عدم اهتمام البراجماتيين بتقديم التراث الثقافي الماضي من خلال المنهج المدرسي، إلى جانب رفض البراجماتية للطرق التقليدية في التدريس، واعتمادها على طرق تدريس جديدة مثل طريقة المشروعات، وطريقة حل المشكلات. في حين أن أبرز إيجابيات الفلسفة البراجماتية هي إنصاف الطالب والنطر إليه كمتعلم نشط، والربط بينه وبين البيئة التي يعيش فيها، ومن أهم سلبياتها عدم الاعتراف إلا بالعالم المادي المحسوس والمشاهد، والخواء الروحي الواضح في هذه الفلسفة، بالإضافة إلى تهميش القيم، واعتبارها نسبية، ومتغيرة، وربطها بتحقيق المنفعة.

This study aimed to uncover the conceptual bases of pragmatic philosophy and to explain its educational applications in the field of education objectives, student, teacher, curriculum, methods of teaching and evaluation methods, as well as to identify the most positive and the most negative aspects. The study used descriptive documentary method, and revealed a number of results, the most important of which are: The most important conceptual points of pragmatism are: the belief that there is only one world, the visible and fundamental aspect of the world, and the view of man as an integrated view of mind and body, as well as the denial of the metaphysical aspect of the universe and the assertion that human knowledge is limited by the scope of his experience. While the most important educational applications of pragmatic philosophy are: Emphasize the need to focus the educational work on the child, and make the student in a positive attitude and not negative, while the teacher in pragmatic philosophy is a guide, a guide and a planner of the educational situation, in addition to the indifference of pragmatists to provide the cultural heritage of the past In addition to rejecting the pragmatism of traditional methods of teaching and adopting new methods of teaching such as the method of projects and the method of solving problems. While the most prominent advantages of pragmatic philosophy is the fairness of the student and consider him as an active learner, and the connection between him and the environment in which he lives, and the most important disadvantages of the recognition only the tangible physical world and scenes, and the spiritual vacuum evident in this philosophy, in addition to the marginalization of values and relative,, And linking them to benefit.
