|a هدف البحث معرفة العلاقة بين معنى الحياة وتقدير الذات لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية، ومعرفة الفروق بين الطلاب والطالبات في معنى الحياة وتقدير، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) طالب وطالبة من طلاب الثاني الثانوي، واستخدمت الباحثة من الأدوات مقياس معنى الحياة ومقياس تقدير الذات وكلاهما من أعداد الباحثة، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة موجبة بين معنى الحياة وتقدير الذات، ووجود فروق بين الطلاب والطالبات في معنى الحياة لصالح الإناث، ووجود فروق بين الطلاب والطالبات في تقدير الذات لصالح الطلاب.

|f The purpose of the research was to find out the relationship between the meaning of life and self-esteem among high school students, and to find out the differences between the male and female students in the meaning of life and self esteem. The sample of the study consisted of (200) students of second year of high school. The tools used by researcher are: scale of meaning of life and scale of self-esteem prepared by the researcher. The results of the study revealed a positive relationship between the meaning of life and self-esteem, there are differences between male and female students in the meaning of life in favor of females, and there are differences between male and female students in self-esteem in favor of the male students.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018.
