المستخلص: Ka'b Ibn Malik, a venerable Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), failed with two others Companions to be present at the Battle of Tabuk. So, the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered his Companions to keep away from them and also ordered their wives to isolate themselves from them. Things became aggravated to them and they remained on that fifty days until Allah, the Almighty, accepted their repentance and forgave them. The researcher fully related the story and mentioned some of the educational lessons derived from it. He also shed light on the Importance of education and truthfulness as well as the importance of taking the initiative towards achieving the goals and renouncing procrastination and so forth.
