ليس الهدف المقصود من هذا البحث حصر آراء واختيارات القرافي في جميع هذه المسائل وعرضها وتقويمها، ولكن المقصود أن نعطي القارئ نبذة عن آرائه والإضافات العلمية التي انفرد بها وقت هذا الجانب، ومن خلال هذه الإضافات المختلفة الأنماط تم اختيار هذا البحث لمعرفة اختيارات القرافي التي خالف فيها الرازي في موضوع البيان والمبين. والحديث عن هذه الاختيارات يتطلب آن نعرف القارئ بالقرافي ونعطيه نبذة عن حياته، كما ورد في المقدمة. ولذلك قام الباحث يجمع عدداً مقدراً من آراء القرافي، وعمل على تحليلها تحليلا علمياً في ضوء القرآن والسنة، وآراء علماء الأصول الفحول، وشرح معنى البيان والمبين شرحاً لغويا، وتحدث عن الاشتقاق الأكبر للربط، مبينا المعنى الاصطلاحي في ذلك كله، وفي الخاتمة تناول أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث.
