|a تستمد هذه الدراسة شرعيتها من كون أن التاريخ المحلي في سياقه الوطني والكوني مسألة ضرورية من الوجهة المعرفية، خاصة وأن فترة البحث تمثل مرحلة في تطور موازين القوة بين صفتي المتوسط، بعد امتلاك أوروبا وسائل وآليات الغلبة والتغلب على بافي العالم، والدراسة لا تتطلع للوقوف على رصد ما حدث، وكيف حدث فقط، وإنما تروم خدمة بعد توضيح حقبة مهمة من تاريخ منطقة دكالة، ورصد ردود أفعال أهلها تجاه الغزو البرتغالي، ومحاولة ربط السمات الأبرز لروح المقاومة وبطولاتها، سعيا لحماية الذاكرة الجماعية وملاحمها، وإثبات أن المحلي لا ينعزل عن الكوفي في علاقة التأثر الناتج عن الخضوع لمنظومة الغزو والاستعمار، وما تتركه مدفونا في البنيات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي يستمر فعلها حيا في الوجود باديا للعيان.

|f This study derives its legitimacy from the fact that local history in its national and global context is a necessary issue from a cognitive point of view, especially since the period of research represents a stage in the evolution of the balance of power between the two sides of the Mediterranean, after Europe has developed the means and mechanisms to prevail and overcome the rest of the world. And the study does not seek to study what happened, and how it happened, It rather seeks to clarify an important era in the history of the Dakala region, and observe the reaction of its people to the Portuguese invasion, and try to link the most prominent features of the resistance spirit and its heroism, in an effort to protect the collective memory and its epics, and prove that the local is not isolated from the Kufi in the relationship of influence which was the result of subjugation to the system of conquest and colonization, and what it leaves is buried in the economic and social structures that continue to be clearly visible and alive.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
