|f The current study aimed to identify the nature of university students' attitudes towards democracy and to reveal the differences in those trends according to gender and specialization of students. To this end, the study was conducted among 240 university students, distributed equally among the disciplines of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and the scientific and applied colleges. The results showed that undergraduate students' attitudes towards democracy are positive, which shows us by measuring the trend towards different axes that define democratic behaviour, and that there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in their attitudes towards democracy, while differences were reported according to specialization in favour of humanities and social sciences students.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018

|d La présente étude visait à identifier la nature des attitudes des étudiants universitaires à l’égard de la démocratie, et à détecter les différences de ces attitudes en fonction du sexe et de la spécialité académique des étudiants, pour atteindre cet objectif, l’étude a été menée sur 240 étudiants universitaires répartis en égalité dans les disciplines de la faculté des sciences sociales et humaines et la faculté des sciences appliquées. . \nLes résultats ont montré que les attitudes des étudiants sont positives vis-à-vis de la démocratie, il n'y a pas de différences statistiquement significatives selon leur sexe ; alors qu'il y avait des différences selon la spécialité d’étude.

|a هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على طبيعة اتجاهات الطلبة الجامعيين نحو الديمقراطية والكشف عن الفروق في تلك الاتجاهات وفق الجنس والتخصص الدراسي للطلبة، ولتحقيق هذا الغرض أجريت الدراسة على 240 طالبا وطالبة جامعيين موزعين بالتساوي على تخصصات كلية العلوم الإجتماعية والإنسانية والكليات العلمية والتطبيقية. \n وقد أظهرت النتائج أن إتجاهات الطلبة الجامعيين إيجابية نحو الديمقراطية، وهو ما توضح لنا بقياس الإتجاه نحو مختلف المحاور التي تحدد السلوك الديمقراطي، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في إتجاهاتهم نحو الديمقراطية، في حين وردت فروقا فيها وفقا للتخصص لصالح طلبة العلوم الانسانية والاجتماعية.
