This study shows the attitudes and behavior of the beneficiaries toward the use of the social media in information centers in Saudi universities, the application to the University of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd, as a contribution of the researchers in the definition of the services provided by social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, and.... Etc.) and their components, the basic requirements for providing information services through the means of social media, and then measuring the attitudes and behavior of students and faculty members and in interaction with the services provided by the Learning Resources Center, to identify the satisfaction of the users of these services, with the obstacles and challenges for the provision of information services through the social media. The study methodology adopted in the field as well as to the side applied the theoretical side, the field side, a survey have been sent to the community of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University, students and faculty, staff, and a number of associate members of the university, as well as the work of the legislated interviews with administrative and technical staff of the Information Technology Department of the Web Services Department, and view a sample of thinkers and researchers in order to identify their views on the attitudes and behavior of the beneficiaries toward the use of the of social media and its role in the transfer and communicated information.
