المستخلص: جاءت هذه الدراسة للبشارات الواردة بنبوته صلى الله عليه وسلم في العهدين، ولأثرها في بناء شخصية المسلم، فقد تضمنت تلك البشارات وصفاً لشخصه صلى الله عليه وسلم، فذكرت بعض أخلاقه، ومنها : ذاكراً لله، رئيس السلام، ليس بفظ، لا يصخب، لا يعتدي، داع إلى الحق، وغيرها. ويسعى البحث إلى دراسة بعض تلك البشارات وأثرها في شخصية المسلم في الجانب الإيماني، والأخلاقي، والفكري وغيرها. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج التحليلي والمنهج الاستنباطي مع بعض المقارنات، وكان من أهم نتائج البحث: علم أهل الكتاب بصدق نبوة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بصورة لا تحتمل الشلك، كما أن الشخصية التي بشرت بها الكتب السماوية شخصية معصومة، وفاضلة، وناضجة وفق مقاييس علم النفس وسلوك الشخصية، وبمقارنتها بسيرة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نجد أنها تنطبق عليها بلا أدنى شك. وفي ذلك عزة للمؤمن بدينه ونبيه، والتأكيد على الجانب الخلقي في الإسلام كما ذكره الأنبياء عليهم السلام من قبل. كما بينت أن رسالة الإسلام هي الرسالة العالمية الخالدة التي تثبت إلى الأبد، وترشد إلى الحق، وتقيم ملكوت الله في الأرض، وهذا كله له أكبر على شخصية المسلم. وبذلك ترد مزاعم أعداء الإسلام وخاصة في الآونة الأخيرة والمتمثلة بحملة العداء تجاه رسول الله عليه الصلاة والسلام، من خلال رسم الصور المسيئة، وغير ذلك في محاولة تشويه صورته، فيقول لهم المسلم : ارسموا له صورة من خلال ما ورد عندكم من صفاته.

The Bible and Testament Tidings of the Prophecy of Mohammed (PPBH) and Its Effect on the Muslims. This study investigates the tidings reported in the Bible and the Old Testament about the prophecy of Prophet Mohammed (PPBH); it also examines the effect of such tidings on the character of modern Muslims. These tidings include a description of Prophet Mohammed’s character and his good manners such as: a person who always remembers Allah (God)! a chief of peace! not severe or harsh-hearted! Does not hustle! does not offend! preaching for right and others. In light of all these good manners and traits! we find ourselves describing a righteous and mature character according to the principles of psychology and behavioral studies. This represents a response to all recent claims of enemies of Islam from people of the scriptures (Jews and Christians) who launched a hatred campaign against Prophet Mohammed (PPBH) by drawing pictures and producing offending movies about him. For these people we say: Draw a picture for him from the traits of Prophet Mohammed that are reported in your own scriptures. If Muslims follow the manners and traits of Prophet Mohammed reported in the two scriptures! he would project to the world a co-existing character full of peace and serenity and not a severe or harsh hearted character. He would also reflect a well-balanced and mature character on both spiritual and physical scales. Accordingly! the religious! spiritual! moral and intellectual effect of the tidings of the two scriptures will manifest in Muslim’s character. It also reveals the mistakes of other Muslims who violated the manners and traits of the Prophet by their deeds; so they presented by their deeds a counter picture of the previous ethical picture of the Prophet by them murdering and oppressing people while claiming at the same time that they are following his steps.
