المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة الوصفية إلى معرفة مستوى قيام المدرسة الثانوية بدورها في تنمية الوعي الأمني لدى الطالبات، من وجهة نظر المديرات والوكيلات والمرشدات والمعلمات. ورصد فروق آراء العينة وفق متغير الوظيفة، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، والدورات التدريبية في الوعي الأمني. واعتمدت الدراسة على استبانة لأدوار المدرسة الثانوية مصنفة في محورين أساسيين هما: الوعي الأمني المتعلق بالأمن الفكري، والوعي الأمني المتعلق بالانتماء الوطني. وطبقت على عينة عشوائية طبقية ضمت 19 مديرة، و25 وكيلة، و17 مرشدة، و183 معلمة. وقد أسفرت الدراسة عن مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: تقوم المدرسة الثانوية بدورها في تنمية الوعي الأمني لدى الطالبات في المدينة المنورة بمستوى متوسط، من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة بمتوسط عام بلغ 7.3، كما تقوم بدورها في تنمية الوعي الأمني المتعلق بالأمن الفكري لدى الطالبات بمستوى متوسط، من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ 2.3. وتقوم بدورها في تنمية الوعي الأمني المتعلق بالانتماء الوطني لدى الطالبات بمستوى متوسط، من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة بمتوسط حسابي بلغ 3.15. كما أسفرت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في آراء العينة حول مستوى قيام المدرسة الثانوية بدورها في تنمية الوعي الأمني لدى الطالبات وفق متغير الوظيفة، والمؤهل العلمي، وسنوات الخبرة، والدورات التدريبية في الوعي الأمني.

It is increasingly difficult to maintain the security of societies in the face of global challenges and recent developments. Among the factors that help to spread security in society is the development of students’ awareness through public education institutions in general and schools in particular. In spite of the recommendations and suggestions yielded by meetings, seminars and conferences to conduct studies in the field of security awareness and the extent of the contribution of the school to achieve it, the researcher noted the lack of studies on the subject of security awareness among female students. Therefore, the need to recognize the level of role played by the secondary school to develop security awareness among female students was necessary. This was done by answering the following questions: 1- What is the level of the secondary school role in the development of security awareness among female students in Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah? This question answers the following sub-questions: A- What is the level of the secondary school role in developing security awareness related to intellectual security among female students B- What is the level of the secondary school role in developing security awareness related to the national affiliation among the female students 2- Do the sample opinions differ on the level of secondary school role in developing the security awareness among the female students according to the variables of (job, academic qualifications, years of experience and training courses) The study followed the descriptive approach. It relied on a questionnaire for the secondary school roles, and is divided into two main themes: The security awareness related to intellectual security, it contained (16) phrases. And security awareness related to national affiliation and included (13) phrases. In the second semester of the academic year 1434/1435 A.H, the questionnaire was applied on a randomized stratified sample of 19 female managers, 25 female deputies, 17 female counselors and 183 female teachers. After conducting internal and virtual honesty and stability testing, the following statistical methods were applied: frequencies, percentages, standard deviation, average, mono-variance analysis, independent sample testing, Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann Whitney test. The study yielded the following findings: 3- The secondary school plays its role in developing the security awareness among the female students in Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah at an average level from the point of view of the study sample with an average of 3.07. 4- The secondary school plays its role in developing the security awareness related to intellectual security among the female students at an average level from the point of view of the study sample with an average of 3.02. 5- The secondary school plays its role in developing the security awareness related to national affiliation among the female students at an average level from the point of view of the study sample with an average of 3.15. The findings of the study also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the opinions of the sample on the level of the secondary school role in developing the security awareness among the female students according to the following variables: Job, academic qualifications, years of experience and training courses in security awareness.
