المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الفروق بين درجات السمات الشخصية لدى نزلا ء دار الملاحظة بمدينة الرياض في (الشعور بالذنب، يقظة الضمير، الحرج، الخجل) ، وعن العلاقة بين بعض سمات الشخصية والندم الموقفي لدى نزلاء دار الملاحظة بمدينة الرياض. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت العينة من (128) نزيلا من نزلاء دار الملاحظة بمدينة الرياض، تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية ، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات السمات الشخصية لدى نزلاء دار الملاحظة بمدينة الرياض في أبعاد (الشعور بالذنب، يقظة الضمير، الحرج، الخجل)، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات عينة البحث حول أبعاد السمات الشخصية بأبعادها (الشعور بالذنب، يقظة الضمير، الحرج، الخجل)، وعلاقتها بمستوى الندم الموقفي لدى نزلاء دار الملاحظة، وإلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين بعض السمات الشخصية بأبعادها (الشعور بالذنب، يقظة الضمير، الحرج، الخجل) ، والندم الموقفي لدى نزلاء دار الملاحظة، وأن القيمة الاحتمالية لمعامل الارتباط دالة عند مستوى الدلالة (0.01).

The study aimed to detect the differences between the grades of personality traits of the guests of the observation house in the city of Riyadh in (feeling guilty, Conscientiousness, embarrassment, shyness). And about the relationship between some personality traits and situational remorse of the guests of the observation house in the city of Riyadh. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used. The sample consisted of (128) guests from the observation house in Riyadh city who were randomly selected. The study found that there were statistically significant differences between the average degrees of the personality traits of the guests of the observation house in the city of Riyadh in (feeling guilty, Conscientiousness, embarrassment, shyness). And the absence of statistically significant differences between the average response of the sample members around the dimensions of the personal traits (feeling guilty, Conscientiousness, embarrassment, shyness) and its relation with the level of the situational remorse. and the existence of a positive correlative relationship with statistical significance between some of the personality traits in their dimensions (feeling guilty, Conscientiousness, embarrassment, shyness) and the situational remorse of the guests of the observation house. The probability value of the correlation coefficient is a function at the significance level (0.01).
