The study aimed to demonstrate the usefulness of theories of language acquisition, knowledge of the scientific relationship between psychological theories and language acquisition and to articulate the most important fundamental principles emanating from scientific and psychological theories and their application in the field of language acquisition. In addition to the importance of scientific study and research in the field of language acquisition. The results indicated that each theory focuses on aspects of language acquisition without the other. The authors of each theory built their point of view on their criticism of the other theoreticians in order to take a competitive position. While the authors of the behavioral theory emphasize that language skills such as all skills are subject to the general principles of learning such as promotion, imitation and repetition. The authors of the Innate theory see that children are born with formulas for language combinations in their biological composition with the integrity of pronouns and maturity factor. In addition, the authors of the cognitive theory see that the interaction of the child with his home and the surrounding is effective in the acquisition of language. Environmentalists fail to explain the phenomenon of linguistic innovation that is shown in the child between the second and fifth years of age that enables him to produce words not heard in his environment. The study recommended not to be biased towards one of these three theories. Rather, we should address them in a comprehensive and integrative way to explain the process of language acquisition in children because none of these theories has proven successful in interpreting language acquisition without some errors.
