The article aimed to shed light on the personality of Al-Mahdi Bin Baraka and his struggle in Morocco against the dictatorship in Spain. The article touched upon the relationship between the Spanish Left-wing against Francoism and the progressive Moroccan nationalism. The article included several elements: the fathom of the exiled community in Morocco, Al-Mahdi Bin Baraka through the Spanish archives, Bin Baraka and the third conference of the National Union of the Moroccan Students, Bin Baraka as a political refugee in Melilla, the obscuring in the image of Al-Mahdi Bin Baraka during his exile in the Spanish archives, and the conference of the three continents from the perspective of Spain. The article discusses the suffering of the Spanish Left-wing, which was sentenced to exile by the General Franco, out of special circumstances and difficult situations, where he lived isolated in many countries, including the Maghreb countries, adding to these conditions the low mutual understanding between the Moroccan national issues on the one hand and the Spanish Republicans on the other hand. The article showed that Morocco's independence process was not taken care of by most Europeans as long as it did not bother them, including even some progressive means. The article highlighted that during the 1960s, in which the exiled Spanish Republicans living in Morocco, they did not have good relations with the host country. The article discussed the disappearance of Bin Baraka from the Spanish documentation and his appearance after the project of establishing an office of the National Union of the Popular Forces in Madrid. The article concluded by noting that the disapperance of Ibn Baraka in the Progressive Press, which was secretly distributed in Spain, is evidence of the distance and mutual disregard between the leftists, the Spaniards and the Moroccans, yet Bin Baraka was not ignored by one of the progressive publishing houses, and then Bin Baraka became one of the most progressive Spanish political legends.
