The article aimed to shed light on the personality of Al-Mahdi Bin Baraka. The article included an overview of Bin Baraka's honoring by the Maghreb-Europe Institute and Politis magazine on the 30th anniversary after his disappearance. The article pointed to Bin Baraka's awareness of the importance of education as a tool for the liberalization and headed it for the first committee charged with reforming education. The article showed that the age of Baraka at the moment of his abduction on Friday, October 29, 1965 did not exceed forty-five years. He have spent more than thirty year of them as a fighter, and six years fighting between the prison walls. The article touched on Ben Baraka's position on colonialism and his demand for true independence through the self-management of destiny and the achievement of self-sufficiency both at the national income level and at the level of natural resources. The article referred to the report presented by Bin Baraka to the United Nations in Paris to condemn the colonialism in Morocco and his demand for the United Nations to respect its obligations to the colonized countries and the need for the enjoyment of human rights by their peoples. The article showed Bin Baraka's passion for liberating the Third World and improving its standard of living, in addition to his role in the Algerian and Palestinian cases, and his preparing for the conference of the three continents. The article concluded by pointing out that Bin Baraka will remain, despite his disappearance, a capital that symbolizes an important period of the contemporary history and the evolution of humanity towards the human liberation.
